A Titan of Our Time
He was a compassionate doctor, leading researcher and pioneer of the Hepatitis B Vaccine that contributed significantly to the improvement of human health globally. He was the first founding member of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta in Singapore under Archbishop Nicholas Chia and the first Knight Chancellor of the Order. He led missions locally and overseas, bringing aid and medical assistance to the poor and sick in many countries. An accomplished badminton player in his youth having reached the All England Doubles Finals at the apex of his sporting career. A Cambridge man through and through having left a lasting legacy at Downing College, Cambridge to support students in reaching their academic dreams.
Above all, he was the best father and husband we could ask for.
A loving gentle giant.
A titan of his time.
